This freeware AI package produced by Miljan Korać in conjunction with Military AI Works , features the Mikoyan Gurevich MiG-29’s, MiG-21’s and Antonov An-26’s of the Serbian Air Force based at Batajnica Airbase (LYBT). This package features detailed custom made scenery of Batajnica Air Base and flight plans for all current MiG-29 and MiG-21 aircraft as well as the two remaining Antonov An-26’s. This package covers Squadrons 201/and 301 at Air base 5 – Monte Real and Squadron 501 and 601 at Air base 6 – Montijo. The two squadrons at Monte Real fly the F-16A and F-16 AM while the 501 flies the timeless C-130H and H-30. This package is also one of the first to present the P-3C Orion from Jake Burrus. This package comes to life thanks to a new excellent model developed by Michael Pearson, the Alenia/Embraer AMX Ghibli. At present, two Italian Wings have the AMX in service. The 51st Wing based at Istrana in North-East of Italy, and the 32nd Wing based at Amendola in the Italy’s “heel” in Apulia. These models make their first official appearance in a MAIW package.

Based mainly at Lecce Galatina (LIBN) in Southern Italy, the MB-339 is the mainstay of Italian Fast Jet training. Delivered in 1979 initially the aircraft has been updated to a high standard with modern flight controls and instruments. The Italian Air Force operate the MB-339CD and the MB-339A (MLU). The aircraft is also used by the Italian Aerobatic Display team the “Frecce Tricolori” who use the MB-339A (MLU).

The 46th Brigata Aerea “Silvio Angelucci” is the only squadron committed to air transport within the Italian Air Force, and one of the most prestigious. Nowadays, the 46th Brigata Aerea is equipped with C-27 Spartans and the most recent versions of the C-130, and hosts a crew training facility as well as maintenance facilities at Pisa-San Giusto (LIRP).
