This freeware AI package, produced by Desmond Burrell in conjunction with Military AI Works, heads back to NAS Oceana located in Virginia Beach and depicts the largest unit stationed there, VFA-106; the “Gladiators”.   VFA-106 is the United States Navy’s east coast Hornet and Super Hornet FRS (Fleet Replacement Squadron) which trains new and transitioning pilots and weapon systems officers (WSO) from the USN and USMC how to fly and fight in the Hornet or Super Hornet.  This package depicts the operations at NAS Oceana as well as the detachments at NAS Key West and NAF El Centro. Also included in this package are the F-5’s of VFC-111 which are stationed alongside the VFA-106 detachment at NAS Key West.  This package contains flightplans, callsigns and afcads depicting each unit.

This package contains all Lockheed EP-3E in service with the United States Navy’s VQ-1 and VQ-2 squadrons. Also included are each squadrons support / training P-3C’s

Note that some EP-3E’s do not have their “sensors” and other parts painted black, more the same grey as used on the underside. MAIW are unable to get a definitive list of aircraft and the current sensor colour scheme for each EP-3E in service, so have left them in the stylish black scheme.

This special freeware AI package, produced by Military AI Works brings back the last true naval fighter, the mighty F-14 Tomcat, to your virtual FS2004 skies.  This package is the first of three MAIW releases honoring the F-14 Tomcat.  This release depicts the United States Navy F-14 operations in their last days when only two squadrons remained, VF-31 “Tomcatters” and VF-213 “Black Lions”.  This package contains repaints, AFCAD, flight plans and custom call signs for each depicted unit. 

This freeware AI package, produced by Desmond Burrell in conjunction with Military AI Works, adds more units to the cradle of Naval Aviaton, NAS Pensacola located in sunny Florida.  NAS Pensacola hosts several aviation units. The two units depicted in this package are the Texan II’s of VT-10 and the 455th Flying Training Squadron. Both of these squadrons provide primary flight training for Naval Flight Officers and Combat Systems Officers for the US Military as well as various allied nations. This package contains flightplans, callsigns and afcads depicting each unit.

This freeware AI package, produced by Desmond Burrell in conjunction with Military AI Works, brings to life Naval Air Warfare Station China Lake.  China Lake is the United States Navy west coast operational test and evaluation base and operates various types of fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft to accomplish this mission.  This package depicts the fixed wing operations of VX-9 “Vampires” and VX-31 “Dust Devils”.  This package contains flightplans, callsigns and afcads depicting each unit.

This freeware AI package, produced by Desmond Burrell in conjunction with Military AI Works updates NAS Whiting Field North with their newly arrived T-6B training aircraft.  As the USN and USMC continue to phase out the venerable T-34C, the T-6B Texan II is taking over the role as primary trainer.  Three squadrons (VT-2, VT-3 and VT-6) operate the T-6B at NAS Whiting North.  All of these units are depicted in this package as well as the small flight detachment based at NAS Oceana which gives orientation flights to US Naval Academy Midshipmen.

This freeware AI package, produced by Desmond Burrell in conjunction with Military AI Works, brings to life the home of Naval Air Systems Command, NAS Patuxent River located in the state of Maryland.  NAS Patuxent River hosts several units including the United States Naval Test Pilot School, VX-1, VX-23, VX-20, VXS-1 and the NAS Patuxent River Air Operations Division. All of these units are depicted in this package.  This package contains flight plans, callsigns and AFD files for each depicted unit.

This freeware AI package, produced by Military AI Works contains everything needed to activate Miramar Naval Air Station, circa 1986, (when the film TOPGUN was filmed there).  The package contains 2 brand new dedicated AI models, the A-4 Skyhawk and F-14 Tomcat by Nick Black. It also provides repaints of all units based at Miramar NAS during the mid-1980s.

As this is a retro package, the accuracy of paint schemes and serials of the aircraft cannot be guaranteed, so we ask you to please remember this. We have however been privileged to work with Dave Waffler, who was stationed at Miramar during the 1980s, on this package, and his advice and support has been invaluable. We assure you that the package is as accurate as it could possibly be.

This freeware AI package, produced by Military AI Works contains all Sixteen squadrons based at NAS Lemoore as of November 2009, which are assigned to the Carrier Air Wing CVW-2 USS Abraham Lincoln, Carrier Air Wing CVW-9 USS John C Stennis, Carrier Air Wing CVW-11 USS Nimitz, Carrier Air Wing CVW-14 USS Ronald Reagan and also three land based squadrons. Included is individual Carrier Wing and land based squadrons flightplans, custom scenery from John Stinstrom for NAS Lemoore as well as custom Afcads and Voicepacks. Note NAS Lemoore will never have all 16 squadrons on the ground together in real life due to carrier deployments, so we have provided individual squadron traffic files so you can pick and choose how many squadrons you want on base at any time. 

This freeware AI package, produced by Military AI Works, brings to life the NAS Corpus Christi in FS2004.  NAS Corpus Christi is located along the Southeastern coast of Texas and is host to several military and civilian flying organizations including the US Navy’s Training Air Wing 4 and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection P-3 Orion airwing.  Training Air Wing 4 is the U.S. Military’s primary multi-engine training organization and trains student pilots from the Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force as well as foreign students in all phases of primary and advanced multi-engine training.  The U.S. Customs and Border Protection P-3 Surveillance Wing is the only civilian operator of airborne and early warning aircraft in the United States.  This package includes paints, AFCADs and custom callsigns for each depicted unit.
