Slingsby Firefly

Post by petebramley »

Does anybody know where I can get my sticky mitts on this model ??

Specifically I'm looking for the Chris 'elvis' Jones aircraft with the "MKII_1Pilot"
model. Have looked in both Flightsim and Avsim but to no avail. Have copied the
rbaft67.zip by Dale from Flightsim.com but the model in that file is different.

Cheers :!:

As released by "Elvis" for our use.

From Chris himself,
"As a Disclaimer – anything using or based upon the files I have shared MUST remain freeware, some of the models are based upon other peoples work (Dan Bourque for the 707, Lasse Lindh for the S-76, Rob Nieuwenhoven for the Sea king and Squirrel models)

Apart from that, and asking that due credit is given where these models are used, I hope people can make use of and enjoy them"

Please honour his requests if you intend to release any work based on his stuff.

We have the permission, we have the FSX model, but I cannot find any repaint anywhere. I understand there must have been a package that was used by the UKMIL RAF Barkston Heath scenery. But the link from that docu points to a lost AVSim download.

Does anybody still have the paints available?
Cheers,
Martin

Zipped up the two model folders and placed them in your folder, Martin.

Might be worth making them available for FS9 users as well, once you have sorted out the package to your liking.

Hi. I found on flightsim by Ross Bremner a file called -> cjai_t-67_g-cdhc. This includes 4 models (with the here discused one) and 2 air-files. Hope that helps a little bit.

Best regards, Arne :)

Thanks for all your feedback! We have the models for DS9 and FSX and the permission to use it, so that is covered.
I meanwhile also have a package with paints. These are done by some Jim Witherley.

I need to get in contact with him to ask if we have his permission to convert and use his paints, Anybody knows him and has a valid mail address?
Cheers,
Martin
