Mil Callsigns

Post by FERG »

Hi all

Wonder if anyone can assist please.

The MAIW packaged aircraft work very well in FSX with editvoicepack.

For example the 65AGRS Eagles at Nellis come up "Flanker 42" on the ATC.

I always thought that to get call signs like this to work you entered "Flanker" as ATC airline and 42 as the flight number in the respective Aircraft CFg.

However I notice on the MAIW aircraft Cfg's there is no flight number but ATC still calls "Flanker 42".

Could someone advise how one gets these military call signs to work with fax ATC?

Thanks

The flight number is inserted into the flight plan. An aircraft either uses a flight number or registration. AC#1,N291EA,1%,Week,VFR,0/18:00,TNG0/18:26,015,F,0101 This is a snippet from a plan I did for the Erickson Tankers. Since I have an F before the 0101 it has a flight number of 101. If I had an R, it would revert to N291EA. in the aircraft config I have it with Tanker as the call sign so it would respond to ATC as Tanker 101.
