cant get any planes to show at ETUR

ive been at it all day...i cant figure it out...i followed all of the instructions and i cant get any planes to show...here is the file info from flightsim.com...see if anyone can figure out what im doing wrong!

What traffic do you have loaded for this base?

First check to see if you can actually see the aircraft in the FS9 selection menu. You may have to change a setting in the .AIR file to do that, but if they show up in the sim, then it's either a problem with the AFD file or the flight plans.

the plane is listed in fs9 menu...but the screen is all black?...but my transals are showning at an airport and they show as black screen too....do i have the right aircraft package?...

the docs say

" You will need the Tornado GR1 model by Fernando Martinez, available at the Project AI site. (you need to register before downloading)
Or on the MAIW website. The model is available in 2 packages: German Armed Forces GAFFTC or the Italian Air Force Tornado's.


i have them both installed but fs9 lists them as panavia tornado gr4

Hi Mike.
You need to install the traffic file and the Tornados for that scenery.
I understand you downloaded from AVSim the following textures made by Chris A Brown and Menno van den Boogaard:

rafgetur.zip

and the upgraded textures:

raf_bruggen_revised_textures.zip

Apparently you have not followed Chris instructions.

Also understand you installed the German Tornados. If it right you ended up with various files. Among them a file called:

WoA_PAI_Tornado

An easy way to amend that would be that:

1°Copy the file WoA_PAI_Tornado, and rename it somenthing to remember e.g.: PAI_Tornado_RAF_Bruggen.
2° Now get inside the new aircraft ( PAI_Tornado_RAF_Bruggen) and delete all texture.GAF_xxxxxxx.
3° Also delete the file aircraft.cfg
4° Open "rafgetur.zip"
5° If you want, also open "raf_bruggen_revised_textures.zip"
6° Copy and paste the textures of "raf_bruggen_revised_textures.zip" over "rafgetur.zip" and replace.
7° The resulting files must be copied inside your new Tonado file (the renamed PAI_Tornado_RAF_Bruggen in step 1°)
8° Copy and paste the aircraft.cfg inside "raf_bruggen_revised_textures.zip"

Now you have the Tornados for RAF Bruggen.

Don't forget to copy the traffic file Traffic ETUR.bgl as per instruction from Chris and Menno.

Also you need to copy the waypoint inside AFCAD file of rafgetur.zip

i dont have WoA_PAI_Tornado any where...this is the file the docs in the scenery file said to use...woamil21.zip...its what came up in the search here when i put in "German Armed Forces GAFFTC"

Ok, then...download "woamil21.zip" from this link:

To install "woamil21.zip" (German Tornados) you need the "World of AI Installer (FS9/FSX)". Download it from:
http://www.world-of-ai.com/allpackages.php,

Thus you will have the file "woains24.zip". Unzip and execute "WOAI Installer.exe"

Install "woamil.zip"

After install "woamil.zip" you will find a file called: WoA_PAI_Tornado.

Then, proceed as instructed in my EMail before.

The objective here is to obtain the model and .air files necessary to get and display RAF Tornado traffic at RAF Bruggen.

WoA_PAI_Tornado is not showing anywhere in flightsim...after good install of woamil21.zip

You need to track were the WOAI installer send all files you are installing. A good install puts the file inside "Aircraft" of Flight Simulator 9.
