Planes at Top Gun won't Fly

Post by mllgrennman »

Hi. I installed the Top Gun package...All of the planes are showing...But they won't fly...They just stay parked...Are they supposed to be just static?

Any help is appreciated...Thanks.

well the flight plan is working, you just got to try different times, try 7:30 am local time see if anything happens if all the planes have gone try 18:00 in the evening see if any have come back.

Do they work for anybody in FSX?
We need to understand if it is a FS9-FSX cfg issue or whether it is an individual setup.

The Tomcats only fly on a Saturday. Just reloaded it and it works fine with the timings in the readme.

im using the original package flightplans in fsx...which i think are for fs9...for some reason when i convert them to fsx flightplans...the planes dont show at all at any time.

Could that be because you have an FS9-formatted traffic file for another subject either in FSX\scenery\world\scenery or in one of your local scenery folders? That would kill FSX traffic. It's always worth a scan with AIFP for rogue files in these situations.
