Thanks Jim didn't realise the French had an airborne alert like the USAF had. 12 Mirages airborne each with H-bomb over France. Bet the public didn't know!

Only saw them out in the Gulf once they'd reverted to the Recce role.

The RAF sent crews to train on them when TSR2 was cancelled. They reported it was a joy to fly. Instead we ordered the F111K. The UK Mirage was to be built under licence in the UK with TSR2 Olympus engines installed.

Nice model. I used it in my retro RAF set up. That and the TSR2 shared Scampton together :D

FPs for the Mirage IVA of the 60s & 70s.

Flights are between the Mirage IVA bases in France along with flights to some of the UK V-Bomber bases by the CIFAS based at Bordeaux-Merignac.

The only reference I can find to traffic is the file "mpai_mirage_IV_traffic1.txt" in the archive..this is just notes, credits, disclaimers etc..

Jim, my apologies failed to read things properly, what I took to be Flt Plans was incorrect.
Do your Flt Plans reflect the a/c by M Pearson?
