John Young UKMil Waddington

Post by thunderstreak »

I have installed Waddington in P3Dv4.4 and everything is great except the trees display incorrectly.
They look line big square black sheets arranged in a cross with a tree painted on them. Look like big black squares from a distance.
Any suggestions on how to swap them out for different trees?
Perhaps from the ACG airfields which seem to display correctly.

Thanks and Cheers!

What I did was to load the AFX file into ADE and then import the "Waddington_FSX_Objects.bgl" This was where the trees came from. Once loaded I removed all the scenery objects except the trees and then replaced the trees with trees from the MTtree series of libraries. I then loaded the "Waddington_FSX_Objects.bgl" into MCX and deleted the tree objects and saved it.

The original waddington scenery i used was the one made for FSX "egxw_x_2.zip"

Thanks for the reply, perhaps beyond my abilities.
I’ll have to do some learning and try to figure it out.
I’ve not worked with ADE or MCX yet.
Never too old to start though!

It really was not that difficult. Lets face it, if I can manage then it can't be too hard :D
