ATC: Possible to prevent go-arounds while landing?

Post by Manschy »

Okay, Henk helped a lot to increase the landing speed of the AI aircraft. Now it looks so real when Tornados or military cargo airliners land at - for example - Brüggen.
But while doing some more tests with the AFCAD I noticed the small time lag between the taxi to the standstill of the already landed aircraft and the one on final approach before a go-around.
When a Tornado at Brüggen is almost at the end of the runway, just before it turns left for calling the ATC services, in most cases the time lag is much too short so most aircraft do an annoying go-around. Doing this, the distance between the jets gets unrealistically bigger and bigger...Would be great to prevent the ATC from letting the aircraft do go-arounds..
Regards, Manfred.
