AI sound: Start up and shot down limits?

Post by Manschy »

Hi all experts here around,

I wonder why all AI sounds suddenly stops when the aircraft stops at end of taxiing. Although I assume this is a limitation in FS or the models programming, I would much appreciate if someone can explain this facts. Could be there a solution sometimes to hear the shut down sounds like in reality getting more and more quiet until they are silent? Just an interested question :smt006 ...
Regards, Manfred.

I think it's a limitation in the AI engine Manfred. It's the same thing as AI props visually not spinning up or down, the still one just switches on or off instantly and the rotating prop disks do the same.
