Textures

Post by a7edriver »

This may sound stupid but I'm not sure, where to place texture files after installing packages.

1. Do they go into the texture folder above effects.

2. Into the texture folder below the scenery/world/scenery folder.

3. Into the texture folder way below the Addon scenery folder.

Downloaded the Barksdale B-52 package and, most of the aircraft are under water. Don't know if textures would have anything to do with this but, i think it's worth asking.

Thanks!

The textures themselves would not cause this issue.

If the B-52s are visible but below ground/water then the issue is that the afcad being used is not set to the same height as the terrain for that location.

Can you confirm that you are using FSX with no addon scenery, if you are which one, and that the FS9 afcad from the package has been added to your FSX setup.
This will enable people with FSX to help fix this issue.
