RATS Il-80 Maxdome

Post by shaggy22 »

Does anyone happen to have the Il-80 that was done by RATS a while ago? It wasn't included in the base pack & I used to have them flying around the sim before it threw a fit, but I can't for the life of me remember where I got them from

I think I have what you are looking for. It's like an Il-76 with a rotordome on top. If you want it drop me a PM with an email address to send it to.

The Il-80 is based on the Il-86 & is known as Russia's doomsday aircraft. There is another modified version of the Il-76 known as the Il-82 but that has not been modelled at all.

The Beriev A-50 is again based on the Il-76, a totally different aircraft from the Il-80, google the Il-80 if you can, it's a strange looking bird :D

That's the one, many thanks Jim. I'll do a quick conversion to P3D V4, obviously I won't be releasing this one proper as I don't have the relevant permissions to do that. So if anyone wants them drop me a pm with your email & I'll fire them across

Well I never knew that they released those. Well done, Jim. The official archaeologist of MAIW.

Don't suppose there are any plans for these beasties are there?

Yes the Il-82 are modelised in FS9 (with two textures).

I've them with the 4 Il-80 (freeware). I also have two Tu-214R (equivalent of RC-135 Signit aircraft)

I find/buy them on a Russian forum.

All Il-18/20/22 and 38 variants are also available on this forum (but also vs some $...)

All of them are for FS9

Didn't know about the Il-82, is that a payware model? Can you send me the Tu-214R as well please. The Il-18 series was released for FSX & P3D on avsim.su a year or so ago, it was payware but is now freeware.

While we're on this Russian tangent, did the Air Force/State Aero Tu-204's ever get released or does anyone have any repaints of them? They're about the only thing missing these days from my sim

Hello,

I've repaints for Tu-204 (and 214 variants). I buy these repaints. Aswell I also buy the Tu-214R model (not freeware)

For the Il-18. The serie release on MAIW is not complete. I've the complete serie (not release as freeware) but for FS9.

Where did you purchase the Tupolevs from? Both the repaints & models

Can you please help me here? I can‘t remember that we did any Il-18 package.

Many thank!

Hello Vulcandriver,
Checkout the link submitted by jimrodger earlier in this thread. The AI package is for the Il-86 and it includes three civilian versions, passenger and transport as well as all four Il-86VKP build. Note the Russian designation for the Il-80 Madrone is Il-86VKP. I downloaded the package right after jimrodger dropped the link and it works great.

Just letting you know that RA-86148 has a different livery and registration. It is now RF-93642. The others are current.

Jeez.
So we have just found that we have models for these aircraft and the schemes are already out of date.

So any idea where can we get the updated schemes from, please.

According to Scramble Russia has 4 Il-80's. RA-86146, RA-86149, RF-93642, and RF-93645.

https://www.scramble.nl/database/military/ru#results

Edit: I just realized they listed RF-93645 twice.
