Read the manual that comes with TTools. That will tell you everything you need to know.
"The first rule of Zombieland: Cardio. When the zombie outbreak first hit, the first to go, for obvious reasons... were the fatties."

Mmm... maybe.

My answer would be:
1. Ident all relevant F-15 units in the DB package.
2. Search avsim.com and/or flightsim.com for the appropriate repaints - by unit and/or base.
3. Install those repaints.
4. Modify the relevant aircraft.txt file(s).
5. Recompile usingTtools.

--------
FWIW, what I do after each new AI aircraft comes out is this.

1. Create a new folder on my spare drive for just that aircraft. I name it *aircraftmdl-artist-version* (ex., F15-NB-v1 or A10-Rip-v2)
1a. In each folder, create a subfolder, *Installed*.
2. Download to that folder the appropriate aircraft model/file.
3. Download to that folder any/all repaints and/or model updates for it as they become available.
4. Install the new repaints and models.
5. Move those files which have been installed to the appropriate *Installed* subfolder.
...
x. Recompile the relevant flightplans - replacing/updating the aircraft entries in the aircraft.txt traffic files.

This allows for relatively easy tracking and updating.
I'm in the process of making an Excel spreadsheet that tracks my installed traffic files with relation to the textures/models.
------------------------

Hopefully between those two sections, that's a complete enough answer to at least help you get started updating the DB package.

Mark Walsh has done some repaints for most, if not all units that used the David Bushell models. Check on avsim for his packs.
Option B is to wait until all the packs get updated, which they will when time and manpower allow, but I can imagine that you want the new models now rather than wait, much like myself.
