AI problem

Post by viper810 »

Hello,

I am trying to get the 224 unit from Russia into the air. Only problem is the Il-76.
I dont see them in FS. I have installed AI manualy many times so i know what to do.
I have check it with owls Editor and it looks ok but still i dont know why i dont see them.
Even with a test FLP i dont see them.

Can anyone help me tracking the problem?

I dont know how to post a direct link for the files.

The first thing I would do is use ACA2007 Light or AIFP to check that there are no problem with the flightplans, Martin's tool only checks for problems with the aircraft and not with flightplans.

If there are no problems there then the next stop I would make is check the afcad.

Your test flp have you got the aircraft going from an airfield that you know works with big aircraft?

Thanks for your help.

my problem is solved. Now the explanation.
I scanned all files with ACA2007. I found only one problem.

Well everything in the aircraft file is ok.

All I did is bring extra space above the lines.

And guess? problem solved :? :?: :smt017
What the hell? How can such small thing be a problem?

That is a bit weird but I am glad that the tool helped you identify the problem and were able to fix it. It may have been a non-viewable character in the file.
The reason that none were showing up it expects to find fltsim.0 first and then .1 and so on.
If it can't find the fltsim.0 it won't find any.
