It's been part of the development release since some time, John. Can't say what the button looks like since I am at work.

From mobile hence short

John there's an icon on the menu bar that says 'performance indicator render mode'. Load up a model and click on that.

I don't think it works exactly as it should. The most simple parts 'should' be the coolest colors but that is not the case.

Thanks Mike. According to Arno's video, the 'performance indicator render mode' button is between the camera and wireframe buttons, but on my version of MCX, it's not there. I've downloaded the latest development release and it's not there either.

Having watched the video though, it isn't very convincing for the reason you give and from looking at the F-16 example also. I'll stick with draw calls, polygon count, texture vertex count and LODs when assessing performance. I can make more sense of those aspects of designing.

Hello,
In this news F-16, do you integrate the Drag Chute on Netherland version ?

The special versions like F-16 AFTI or F-16CCV, or F-16XL (Mono and Bi) will be done ?

And the YF-16 ?

Thanks a lot.

Yes we already have drag chute versions modeled and we will eventually get to the early AM and BM versions that the Dutch fly.

Done with the first clean model Block 50 for the USAF. Currently working on loadouts with LODs.

And a whole lot of real life disruptions and distractions.....

Slow progress on the various loadouts being made, slowly but surely!

Air to Air loadout number 1, twin AIM-120s and AIM-9X with 370g externals.

Really looking forward to this!

Question. When this plane is parked, will the canopy be open or closed? In that last preview the plane looks parked (ladder is down and those flags are on the missile tips), but the pilot is still in the plane.

Wonderful work .
Consider a version with the nose open and visible radar, and other open doors ? to represent a maintenance device , much like is the case with the F-15 Nick Black?

Sleep mode will be no pilot, canopy closed, RBF flags in place and ladder on the ground. Still have to add the missle covers to the XML coding that's why they are still in that shot for now.

And yes a maintenance version will probably get done at some point because that always looks really cool in addition to the regular models. Maybe even one up on jacks would be cool.

I think that Mikes war with MS over Windows 10 might have slowed things down a touch.

Might just get these done in time for our 10th anniversary after all!

Single Seat Clean
Single Seat SEAD 1

Both these variations are fully complete. Will be working on other loadouts and the D model is also a possibility as well.

I love it .... perfect job !!!!!! Is there a small chance that you will rebuild the Tornado´s . The plane has many different loadouts. Before they goes out of service. the fleet gets smaller and smaller.

Tjanks for all the great works , and what will come in the future.

Welcome to the forum.
Sorry but we don't make demands of our modellers, they are far more productive when they do want they feel like making.
If one asks for suggestions then feel free to put forward your suggestion.

Block 60 conversion in progress.....

Removed ECS intakes on the main intake splitter.
Reshaped instrument panel and changed to a block 60 texture.
New fat tail base.
New intake nav light supports.
Various new intakes.

Still to do...
New aerial/ecm lumps x4 either side of the nose.

Then copy and reduce to the other lods.
