Thanks Dave

The folding rotors should easy to do as I have them already made so just a case of fitting them, When I decided to the do merlin I created a "library" of parts, just like Westland did, for ease of making different models.

Any news of the AEW version yet seen mock ups of it.

I see the Danish 101s are Mk3a, does the lumpy nose included the Italian HH-101 with IFR probe?

Hi John.

Yes, I already have the RN Task Force package, which is excellent.

Looking forward to seeing your Junglie Merlin package.

Thank you kindly.

Have they lost the jungle green or is this a one off?

Cheers

When all the Junglie Merlin's have been upgraded to HC4, they will all be grey!

All the HC3, 3A & iHC3 are still green.

Quick question. Apart from the folding rotors and grey paint are there any external changes to the Merlins from when the RAF operated them?

On the Merlin iHC3 / HC4 there are a few external 'extras', some are very small and not major for an AI model, I think. The major difference is the folding tail joint and the roping arm above the cargo door, just forward of the winch. If you email me I can send you some close up photos if that helps?

I don't know if the HC3A variant will lose it's unique nose in the upgrade, but it sure would be useful to have that type modelled for Norwegian and Italian Merlins if its not too much hassle?
Edit: I've just read they will be HC4As so they would keep their nose...
