Hope you had a good Christmas.

Late present for you.
I have just uploaded 21 x Bahrain Block 40 textures to your FTP folder.

I think the only change needed for your FS9 models is the grey square near the top of the stbd side tail should be red.

You will also need to add the alpha channel.

Kev
Thanks a bunch for those. Do these have the ambiant layers already added in or no? I think they do but it's hard to tell for sure.

Other than that I see a few changes to them you made which I would like to incorporate into the overall paintkit if that's ok? Not talking about all the display screens, things like the outboard portion of the wingtip missile rails.

Thanks for those. You're going to say a cuss word as you have used the 510th FS "Buzzards" fin flash for all of the textures instead of the green one that the 555th FS uses, the "Triple Nickels".

Also the textures all have some weird compression thing going on which at least on my setup leaves them all pixelated?? You can see it in this set of images. It completely wipes out the panel lines. I think you are using Paint Shop Pro so I'm guessing it's something to do with the way you are saving the files maybe?? That or DXT3bmp is compressing them into a weird format. It affects the whole texture as you can see it on the blue background parts of the texture sheet as well.

One final thing is the nose cone color, you may want to vary that from one texture to the next using one of the three different shading level layers (none, darken 1 or darken 2). That's why those are included in the paintkit if you chose to use them.

The paint on the real nosecones tends to darken over time as they age. So an aircraft with a 'new' nosecone will be a much lighter color of gray than one that has an older nosecone. Totally up to you.

In the config file you included you have these as Block 42's. They are all Block 40 F-16s, different engines and different engine intakes so different models from one another. Easy fix.

Looks amazing Mins! Don't forget there will be a few more models to use with the textures.

Also don't forget that the weapons texture sheets have both live and inert versions depending on how you want them to look.

Lewis has completed paints for the 555th FS and those should be available along with the FS9 Block 40 models as soon as I can get everything put together.

Really? Got pics? Which unit/s?

Just read today the USAF is considering buying new F-16s since the F-35 acquisition is taking so long.

BTW got a new laptop courtesy of work, Win 10 Pro, 64 bit, i5-1035G1 CPU @1.00GHz 1.19Ghz, 16 GB, I'll be curious to see how well it runs P3D.
