Yep,
I would like an F-104C, F-104G, TF-104G, RF-104G and F-104S but I am willing to wait and see what the model elf brings me. :D

This time the elf is an owl, breeding eggs like a cuckoo :wink:

You can read about the F-104 at The Owl's Nest. A new page 'OwlAI' has been added to the 'AI & Flightsim Sites' section.
Cheers,
Martin

F-104S... yum yum... this would populate some Italian airports!
Nowadays they have been retired after almost 50 years of service, but Turkey should still use them... anyone confirms?

I might be mistaken, but I thought Turkey had decommissioned them as well in the 90s.

There is a single F-104 flying out west too. It is based at Williams-Gateway airport. It still flies but not as prolific as the Starfighters Display team who are not flying anymore at airshows because of their NASA work. They are, however, doing a single ship demo this weekend at Tico Airshow in Titusville, FL in their only performance this year. Here is some photos of that First F-104.

I have been in S.Mauro Mare for 20 years for my summer holidays, right between Cervia (LIPC) and Rimini (LIPR) where 5th Wing were based flying the "Spillone", as it was called here in Italy.

I have seen hundreds of Starfighters 8) 8) 8) What a beauty!!! So cool!!!

Spillone=haptin ; big pin.

Oh yeah....
I was there usually in July, at that time, especially in the 80's, there were a lot of squadron exchanges and I've seen a lot of different aircrafts.
Jaguar,Phantom,A-10,F-16 refuelling from a KC-135, M-2000, F-15, probably a Canberra and obviously all Italian aircrafts in use with AMI.

Ray and Martin,

Just a short update on the status on my development of the RKAI F-104G FDE. As you know the original AI FDE that Ray sent me had the RKAI F-104G landing way short and to one side of runways. Rather than spending a lot of time trying to understand and salvage that AI FDE, I am in the process of creating a new one from scratch. I have a v1.0 prototype working and now have to tweek it to approximate as closely as possible the actual takeoff, cruise and landing performance of the F-104G.

I apologize for the delay, but I have several other AI FDE and FS9 projects in process. I am working on the RKAI F-104G FDE as time permits and hope to have something for you soon.
