gear damping

Post by andras1 »

Hi,

this may be the last animation question I have with my current plane. I had a rigid front gear then I decided to animate it so it would not bury the front wheel in the ground when braking. Now I animated the damping by using keyframe 200 when fully damped. How do I have to set the parameters in he aircraft cfg so that I can see the damping, or does it not have anything to do with the aircraft cfg? ah yes and the other question, is there a way to get rid of this pitching movement when the plane taxies on the ground?

Many thanks

Andras

Are you testing it as a user model that you are controlling or have you actually tried it as an AI model. Some of the things that it will do as a user model will not happen when it is actually performing as an AI model.
