It is stated in the Readme for this package but it is worth noting again that the AFD file for Batajnica Air Base has been modified for optimal AI operations. Because of the way that base is set up in real life, it presented several issues for AI aircraft as they taxi to and from the runways that had to be addressed with non-normal taxi routing.

Many thanks for this package. I'm having a slight problem with bits of the runway at LYKV starting to disappear under the topographical scenery as I approach. Anyone else finding the same?

Alan

Didn't see that in any testing. Do you have any third party mesh installed by chance?

We can always make a quick flatten file for it if need be.

Probably is some mesh.Because LYKV is not default in FS2004,but if problem persists as Mike said we can make flatten file.

Alan you might try changing the elevation of the runway and airfield in your AFD program first, sometimes that will do the trick.

Alan,
try this quick attempt at a fix I knocked up in ADE9. Put it in your \Flight Simulator 9\Scenery\World\scenery folde with your traffic files.

Let us know if it works or not.

Thanks Steve. Regret to say that your solution hasn't worked - if anything, it's marginally worse. Sorry.

Well, all I did was create an height alter file in ADE9, to the same height as the afcad. If it is worse then either we need a higher afcad for you, or maybe an sbuilder solution.

If you can give me a height that fits in with your mesh at that location I can try that, or you will have to wait for an adult to come along to help you.

Ok, the altitude of the original package AFCAD runway is 676.8ft and is visible through the mesh at 3 or 4 locations along it's entire length including both start locations either end. However, on the parts that are 'buried' the ground is rising to various heights up to 694ft. Hope that helps.

I can make a file for 694' and see what that does for.

Thanks Miljan. I'll let you know tomorrow if it works. Should I also use the file that Steve uploaded earlier?
