Just to be clear the scenery included in this package is new/updated correct? I already have John's Whidbey Island scenery that he made back in 2007.

Yes, this is a new version of that scenery, you need to remove that version before installing the new one included in this packageJoseph29 wrote:Just to be clear the scenery included in this package is new/updated correct? I already have John's Whidbey Island scenery that he made back in 2007.

thanks to everyone involved

Thanks to everyone involved in this package.
I created a flatten file to get rid of some sunken buildings when using the freeware FSGenesis mesh.
Simply copy the file into the scenery folder of the NAS Whidbey Island scenery.

Thanks for both of your flattens, Hartwig, they're much appreciated

Gents,
In case you haven't seen it. JS has released an update to his WI scenery, included in the package, on Avsim. It is primarily of Coupeville NOLF but it does include IFOLS for Whidbey and a modified afcad to take the IFOLS into account.

I noticed that my previously released flatten file for the FSGenesis mesh users caused some issues with the FCLP markings on some of the runways.
So here is an updated version. Copy it into the scenery folder of the NAS Whidbey Island scenery (overwrite the old file, if already installed).

The aircraft is visible in the aircraft selection screen:
Change parameter 105 : Aircraft type from type 0 to type 2
Then save and the aircraft will be invisible in the aircraft selection screen.
Saves time and memory space when booting FS

You are welcome.Biggles7 wrote: Just a quick word of appreciation for your flatten file, Hartwig.
After installing this package yesterday, I noticed several sunken buildings at Whidbey and was on the verge of creating a flatten file myself....but you saved me that task by posting it up in the thread here. Thanks!
Attached are screenshots proving how superb your flatten file is...with FCLP markings on all four runways.
Re: Whidbey Island Growlers package by Desmond Burrell
Biggles we would appreciate if you put these updates in the correct forum which would be the "Your Packages/Your Projects" since these are not errors with the actual package itself.
Makes the package look like it has a bunch of errors in it which it does not.

Whenever I am on runway 13/31 I have the grass and dirt textures bleeding through the runway. Is there a fix for this? This happens with mesh (FSGenesis) and without mesh.
