Thanxs guys for this package and I'm looking forward the the rest of the Franch Alpha Jets.

What sources do you use for registration and code ?
I checked the first 5 registrations of this package and my sources (Scramble and OnDutchWings) tells me different units, codes and markings etc.
Please don't get me wrong, I like your package anyway. With some cutting, pasting and painting I make them to my own MAIW standard.

Like I said, I'm looking forward to the rest of the packages.

Hoi Gert,

As with every package, there is a significant time period between the initial research phase of a potential package and final release. Packages often take 6 months to a year or longer before they get into your hands.

The serials in this package were accurate at the moment we decided to paint the fleet but as in every air force the Alpha Jets are swapped between units very often. Asking our painters to update their paints every time an airframe gets swapped would drive them crazy, or at least crazier than they already are, so we stick with the initial serials list.

By the way, even if we made sure the serials are 100% correct at the moment of release, they would already be out of date the week after.

I hope this clarifies the situation for you.

Hi, thanks for another great package. The instructions say to remove:
MAIW_AFX_LFBC.bgl

MAIW_Cazaux Scenery.bgl

MAIW_LFBC_EXC.bgl

I do have all of the French packages installed but none of the above are there. I do have:
MAIW_ADE_LFBC_Custom.BGL and MAIW_LFBC_Scenery.bgl as well as LFBC_Floodlights, LWM2, VTPP and VTPX.
Is it okay to install it and leave any or all of these?

Thanks.

It's the same for me, but if I remeber right, these files were already removed following the instuction for another package. Can't remember which one.

If you have the Belgian Alpha Jets package, which was released about a year ago, you should already have removed those files.
