About the numbering of AFCAD slots. The number you type in has nothing to do with where AI will park--it's only good for numbering things like gates when you want ATC to call it out correctly.
Uncoded AI (or AI at a base without their code) go to the slot of the correct type CREATED first in AFCAD--it just looks at the XML coding and goes to the first slot in the code. Make sense? That's why I create the "slot farm" out in the AFCAD blank space next to the airport and and pull the slots in the priority I want them based on where I want the AI to park.
