To me the parking looked pretty randomized so I guess it was not forgotten...

I actually prefer parking not to be randomized in this kind of scenery with HAS parking so that the planes that taxi out for a two-ship mission are taxi-ing and taking off close to each other... Also it looks nicer when visiting aircraft of the same flight park next to each other. For a large ramp style parking with based planes, randomized parking would be good though.

It's possible to merge the "MAIW Belgian Air Bases" folder with the previously released "MAIW Belgium Scenery" folder (I think it's came with the Alpha Jet package)?

Yeah, we should of thought of that, never mind. Yes you can merge if you want to that will work just fine. But make sure you merge the older package into the latest MAIW Belgian Air Bases folder, as we have more from Belgium in the works and will keep to that directory.

Hey!
New question....
Why is the file 'Kleine-Brögel1_VTPM.BGL' always crashing my FS9 ( Win7 ) system?
When I simply take away that file, everything is fluently running, but when that file is loaded together with the other files like originally, my FS9 system tells me that it cannot start at all....
Is the contents of that file important? I don't see any difference when it is loaded or not....

It would be because that file is trying to load a texture that you do not have in your scenery hierarchy.

To find out which one you need to use a tool such as Process Monitor from the Sysinternals suite.

This freeware AI package, produced by Military AI Works, is the first in a series of MAIW packages bringing to life the Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcon in service with the various air forces and air arms of the European countries it has been exported to. Chapter 1 depicts the Belgian Air Component’s SABCA/Lockheed Martin F-16s, and part 1 of this package gives you the F-16s based at Kleine Brogel (EBBL) airbase in northern Belgium, not far from the border with the Netherlands...... Look out for Part 2 of this mini-series, coming soon from Military AI Works, featuring the Belgian F-16s of Florennes, again including stunning scenery by John Stinstrom

Kleine Brogel was another fine airbase with custom scenery by John Stinstrom.
There are an abundance of larger, more complex airbases in the MAIW hangar, but though Kleine Brogel is of the smaller variety, it also illustrates that size has nothing to do with quality when it comes to MAIW military bases. John Stinstrom has earned a reputation for creating some of the best freeware custom scenery for FS9.

After installing Kleine Brogel, I was naturally looking forward to Part Two - featuring the Belgian F-16s of Florennes - as clearly stated in the document (see above quote, esp the underlined sentence).

Please understand it's not my intention to criticize anything here!!
All MAIW freeware packages are marvelous gifts to be enjoyed by all simmers.
I'm merely pointing out the simple fact that for some reason, there never was a "Part B - Florennes (EBFS)".
And since nobody has ever brought this up - ever - I am wondering if there is ever going to be a Part B - Florennes ?
Since it's written that there's "stunning scenery by John Stinstrom", I was truly anticipating it with relish....

I was going to ignore this but since you insist by making double posts:

Apart from breaking the forum rules, what's the point of your question? As you already noticed, it's definitely not coming "soon". Is it "ever"? How can we know? Plans change. Nobody anticipated Nick leaving (twice). Maybe he'll come back again to finish his stuff. Maybe he won't. Life's a mystery.

Small question...

I managed to swap the F-16 models to the FSX/P3D (I use P3Dv4) native models with closed canopy/elevators droop, and replaced the old "OCU sqn special paint" with the 2017 decoration, and added the 31sqn TM17 (backing up/replacing FA-94 texture) version to the fleet.

How can I change the "old" 349sqn and the 2 31sqn special paints, to their standard F-16 scheme?

Greetings,

Lenny

I'm re-installing all my FS9 pack on a new laptop (work laptop, not good to FSX or other).

I'm installing this "MAIW European F-16s 1A - Kleine Brogel_Nick Black". With this name, it suggering other European F-16s pack would producted at this past time.

Is there any beta or unacheved pack available anywhere ?

Thanks a lot.
