I seem to have a problem - nothing shows up. It seems the entries in the traffic BGL and the Aircraft.cfg dont match.

For instance in Aircraft.cfg:

MAIW_FMAI_Tornado IDS_RSF_75_7508

But in the Aircraft.cfg

AC#20,502,"WoA_FMAI_Tornado IDS_RSF_75_7509"

Its something I can fix but im not sure about the novice user, Still apart from this easily fixable thing I can see there has been ALOT of work put into this package! many thanks!

Yes exactly!

Had the same problem here.
Easy to fix though!

Just replace WOA with MAIW in front of the following text.

The easiest way to fix it is with "edit", on your upper left with wordpad and than do replace WOA with MAIW.... that's it!

Just 2 stupid questions:

1- I note that the 29 Squadron use 3 callsign is that correct?

2- Arsaf callsign isn't in capitol letter, can be an issue?

Thanks

Ugo

Now you can ban me..........

There is very little or no information re Saudi callsigns
Arsaf is the standard IACO callsign I just added Saudi and Saudi Air Force to stop it being to repetative
Capitals should not be an issue

Thanks Gary,

I have an other question: Are the IDS and the GR1 the same aircraft model? For what I know Fernando made the IDS and GR1 (but probably i'm still missing something). If they are two different why use the GR1?

Thanks again

Good Question
I would have to ask graham king on that one as he supplied the paints?

An extract from the following
http://www.tornado-data.com/service/Var ... ervice.htm

Originally 48 IDS and 24 ADV were ordered. Due to the tight delivery schedules 18 RAF and 2 German airframes were diverted from batch 5. The 24 ADVs were diverted from batch 6. The remaining 28 IDS were delivered from batch 7.

A further 48 IDS were ordered and delivered from Batch 9.

So they are a bit of a mish mash anyway!

from what else I can gather the Gr1 & IDS are basicaly the same
Why two models? that we would need from Fernando

Tornado IDS. Generic term for 'bomber' version. IDS = Interdictor/Strike.

Tornado GR.1. Standard strike version of the Tornado IDS for the RAF. Features additional fin fuel tank and laser rangefinder in undernose fairing.

Callsigns not being in CAPITALS is definitely not an issue. Personally I change all mine so they would read "Reach" for example as the way they are spelt in the fltsim.x section dictates how FS displays them during ATC comms and a big CAPITALISED CALLSIGN looks daft with the rest of the conversation being in lower case.

Hey that's a good point Ben. Never having used the visual ATC facility, I hadn't thought of that :?

I think the reason that most callsign creators go with capitals, is because EVP only allows that convention when you name the vcpmod in the software.

However, as it seems to work either way, I guess it's a matter of preference, still thanks for highlighting a previously unknown effect.

Cheers

Is this a release? When can I get it? Haven't been able to find it a usual sites. Note about that a corrected version needed to be released, but several days have gone by, so was wondering is it out yet.

saudi tornado not showing up

Post by petebramley »

Cheers for that I had same problem, took me all of 20 mins to work out what had gone wrong. I finished up amending the titles in the aircraft.cfg.

Great job on packages :D

Is there any chance of a B52 package ????
