With the hack of Avsim the Hawks packages aren't currently available. Is there anywhere else from which I can download the Saudi Hawks files, please? Apologies if this is not the right place to ask this question.

Dale,

They are there if you look. I think the information we had at the time of making the package indicated that 37's aircraft came under 21 squadron. If this is incorrect we apologise but the aircraft coded 37XX are all there.

No, but if you look at the readme, the picture of the Hawk under 21Sqn is marked 37XX.

Hello all,
I reinstalled the Canadian Hawks package. I noticed that there is no afcad specifically made for the CFB Cold Lake scenery provided, and the MAIW Afcad provided is suitable for the default scenery.
Has anybody got one for the scenery included in the package?

Invisible Export Hawks Part 4B_Kuwait Hawks

Post by Jive1 »

Hey!
The Hawks of Kuwait always stay invisible...
They are an already somewhat older package....
I can see all other Hawks of other packages, but never can see a Kuwaiti Hawk on the preprogrammed airport and time. From the same pachage I see the Hawks of Bahrein, but never the ones of Kuwait....
I've checked several times all parameters and they seem OK. They are in the flightplan, they are on the AITM scedule board, I can see them when I make them 'flyable' according to AITM data, nothing shows me that they should be invisible, en tough they are....
What could be a reason?

Check if you have any duplicate AFD for the air base.

Hey!
Stil no solution!
Opposite to what Paul Day experienced on aug 4 in 2008, I don't see no Hawks at all at Ali Al Salem, nor at any airport in Kuwait, even when I searveh for them from 9 to 5, all days of the week...
Scanning for duplicate AFD gives negative result, no duplicates.
Strange thing is that I don't find in my AITM aircraft editing tool almost no information, only the title, of the Hawks, whereas Ttools finds all the Hawks....Nor do I see them on my map of the traffic toolbox....
I've beel placing hundreds of AI packages since 2004, and never saw something like this....

All this time I thought I installed the Finland Hawks but I didn't. Well I just installed them and while running ACA to look for errors it found 4 Hawks that are in the aircraft txt file but do not have a flightplan for them.

AC#4,450,"MAIW_NBAI_Hawk_51_FAF_HW-306"
AC#7,450,"MAIW_NBAI_Hawk_51_FAF_HW-309"
AC#37,450,"MAIW_NBAI_Hawk_51_FAF_HW-345"
AC#38,450,"MAIW_NBAI_Hawk_51_FAF_HW-346"

Are these planes part of the midnight airshow? Or where there just no plans for those 4 planes?

Running ACA, I've got them associated to "Traffic_MAIW_Export Hawks Part 1_Finnish Hawks.bgl" dated 14/07/2104 :?

Ok I see what happened. I deleted the 2 Swiss Hawks, so I took the de-compiled plans and made the changes. I just looked at the original traffic bgl and those 4 planes are in there but they are not in the de-compiled plans.
