Great looking model again !! Nicely put into a package...

Just a question about the scenery, at Colmar I see some hangars and buildings but at Reims I don't see any hangars or shelters, just some parked airbase vehicles and equipment, is that correct or am I missing something ?

Hey Bora,

You should have hardened shelters there too. Can you tell me if you are running FSX or FS9. Also did you do a auto install or a manual install.

LFSR should look like this:

I did the manual install, using FS9 ! Those hangars and shelters are not there... Just the tower, some ammunition bunkers (or something), vehicles and some equipment... :(

Have you installed the maiw_aircraft_shelter_library and associated textures in the MAIW Scenery Library Objects folder?

Also you must have the MAIW_MirageF1_Objects_Library and associated textures in the same folder as your French base scenery files.

There are two scenery directories that you need to make sure are added and manually activated, “MAIW French AB Scenery” and “MAIW Scenery Library Objects”.

Can you confirm that they are both installed, as it sounds that only the MAIW Scenery Library Objects one is?
Also its worth checking that if you have both activated that this one is lower on the list than the French AB Scenery.

Parachute ?

Post by opaplano »

The Mirage package is superb! Just one question -

Judging by the textures which get added, I expected to see a parachute deploy when landing. Should there be one?

Just curious.

Hi David,
I do remember from the early days of bets testing that there was, or planned to have ,but I will have to admit that I can't remember anything further than that.
I shall have to let Nick supply the definitive answer.

Bora check for these things as well.

1) Make sure that the MAIW Scenery Library Objects folder is as far down your addon scenery list as possible. Ideally it should be the lowest of any of your addon scenery files.

2) Check for any afcad files for Colmar. This package uses AFX to build afcad files for the bases and those files are contained within the MAIW French Airbase scenery folder. If you have any scenery for Colmar, for example an afcad file in your addon scenery/scenery folder, located in a higher priority than the MAIW French Airbase scenery folder, the objects at Colmar may not show.
