Just to be clear, I made all of the changes that Mike suggested, not just the last three as he mentioned at the last of his post. Probably shoud have tested each hypothesis just to be sure, however, the changes I made seemed to work perfectly so stopped right there. A/C was much more stable with less pronounced wing rocking, and heading variation was reduced to +/- 2.0 or 2.5 degrees depending on the a/c.

Ron thanks for your help in bringing this to our attention and helping to hopefully find a solution. We've kinda known that the model had a problem but I don't think any of us had followed it long enough to make these kind of detailed observations about it and what we might do to make it better. In addition none of us really knew how to fix it. Mike M. is sort of the expert on FDE's around here and he's busy enough without us pestering him to try and come up with a fix. Again thanks for your help.

Des please make sure we credit Ron in the update for his help in this matter.

Newbie query here...

Thanks for the great work you guys are doing, but as an aside a couple of your USAF flightplans for the E-8 include Frankfurt-Main still as an airbase. No USAF military flights now go there, I adjusted the flightplans to go through either Ramstein or Mildenhall.

I just downloaded the patch and updated the .air file.
I was just about to update the config file when I decided to compare the old and the new one.
Well, the titles of the 16 fltsim have all changed: now they begin with UKMIL instead of WoA.
I think the traffic files no longer work: the aircraft file needs to be changed and recompiled with TTools.

If people blindly overwrite the config file, will lose the Robins AFB traffic!

I hope to be wrong, otherwise something needs to be done asap

Thank you and ciao

Ugo there isn't a fltsim.16, it only goes up to 15:

First time I ran into the problem and actually took the time to investigate it. That is why I read first. :)

It's been a while since I had to completely reinstall my simulator from scratch.
