Real side of the force

Post by Psuls »

Hello guys,

it's been a long time without a post, so here is some news.

First of all, congrats to everyone for all these new packages coming out on a regular basis, and especially the 10th anniversary edition. Happy birthday !!

I decided recently that after years of simulated flights, it was time to go to the real thing!
So that's it: I enrolled for flight lessons and theory course in order to get the PPL(A) - private pilot license.

I just came back from my 5th flight. Menu: slow flights, stalls and touch'n goes.
Man this is great!

It is incredible how all this time spent flying on FS saves me a lot of stress, automatism and time!

@Greg: I fly from EBCI, so maybe sometimes you will hear me on the radio near Florennes (but are you still there?)

Keep on going guys!

Cheers
Pascal

Great to hear Pascal! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask, I've had my flight instructor certificate since 1995 and have taught many people to fly airplanes of all types.

What aircraft are you doing your training in??

OK Greg will do : 129.325 Mhz ?

Thanks Mike.
I begin with a nice little PA-38 Tomahawk.
Afterwards I will surely go to a PA-28 Warrior (4 seater)

Pascal that's awesome, I'm flying our club's Tomahawk first thing in the morning.

How do you like training in the Tomahawk? I like instructing in it due to the roominess of the cockpit (for a 2 seat trainer) and the all around visibility out of the cockpit.

How about those stalls! Nice video, I see your Tomahawk likes to drop the right wing in a stall as does ours!

Agree Pascal, great work with the GoPro positioning. I've a got a few hours in a Tomahawk, but I have a PA-28 Warrior renter that is my go-to weekend flyer for years now. In your Tomahawk pic background, we also had a Mooney on leaseback (to rent) that I put almost 100 hours before the owner sold her (I considered purchasing).
