PADQ Kodiak

Post by JohnTenn »

I started with this scenery a while ago.

Is anyone else working on the same?

Would anyone want the WIP?

Flightplans also done.

I've always thought Kodiak would be a nice community project. Some textures on those hangars and we might all be able to make a go of it.

Hi John,
I wouldn't mind a copy. When you say fplns, is this civvy or USCG, or both?

Steve

The flightplans are for USCG. C-130 and Jayhawk.

Similar format to VOAR Poseidon plans. Depart and arrive to and from South East to avoid high ground.

Civilian traffic is from HTAI Cessna's and other UGA packages B200,s and Citations.

Nice.
I know that we have had pieces of USCG stuff over the years and anything that adds to it is welcome.

Good morning, John.

I know this thread is over a year old, but is this something you are still working on?

Thanks,

Colin

Sadly, I have not done any work on it.

I oversimplified the models so creating textures proved too daunting. Until now it had not dawned on me that I could divide the edges and use more textures.

I will not have time until the new year anyway.

Don't hold your breath or expect a highly detailed scenery though.

John,

Thanks for your reply. No worries. I’m trying to put together an AI package, but I’m running out of ideas.

Cheers,

Colin
