P3D V4.3 is out

Post by Joseph29 »

This version might be interesting for some here at MAIW because it includes the C-130 (I am pretty sure it is the one Captain Sim made that LM converted to P3D). The versions included are the AC-130 ‘Spectre’, C-130H, C-130J, C-130J-30, HC-130, and the KC-130. There is a problem with the wing tanks where the tail textures appear upside down on the tanks.

Probably to early to say, but does it have any new features that we can make use of for AI design? Does it break anything?

I am the wrong guy to ask that question to. And what do you mean does it break anything?

In simple terms what worked in v4.2 that doesn't work in v4.3

I posed it as a question because I think Martin discovered that some features of 4.1 no longer worked in 4.2.

Most of the necessary addons and aircraft have been updated already or were not affected by the update. Haven't seen any issues. Many report better dynamic lighting FPS. Overall better performance.

Haven't seen any issues from the AI side. Simbol's AI Lights Reborn still works.

I have had P3D for less than a year so I don't have a lot of addons yet, but what I do have works good in P3D v4.3.

Glad I only just started on my 4.2 install and watched the vids on how to update, although I have to wait on a few key add-ons to update first. I am glad I don't have to try to get my FSX CS C-130 in, but please CS or LM, bring the cockpit up to standard. As far as the list of updates, I am still trying to figure out P3D from FSX.
