Is there a model.cfg file in the model folder and does the model name in the .cfg file match the name of the model?

If that's OK, post a link to the download and I'll try it for you.

Downloaded it and it works with no probs at all.

Might be worth re-downloading and trying again.

It didn't work for me. I got the same message as Brandon. The model was produced in 2005 and the readme says it's for FS2002 and FS2004. MCX reports tons of SCASM code as incompatible. That would most likely cause a problem with FSX patched to SP2 when SCASM backward compatibility was ceased.

My guess is that it's an old FS2002 model.

Quite possibly, but is it worth destroying the compatibility that you now have for more modern FSX add-ons that need it? It took a lot of work if you remember to get SP2 installed in the first place. Is it worth undoing that for an FS2002 add-on that's 14 years old?

It's not something I would recommend you do.

Brandon,
My suggestion here would be that if you have made the move to FSX then stick to FSX models to ensure the least amount of problems.

I understand that there might not be an FSX model of the aircraft type that you want but it is the cross that everybody has to carry according to their choice.

Wait until next month when we start getting question about compatibility with the new MS FS. It will happen I guarantee it.
