The Great British Round Robin Part 1

Post by DaleRFU »

Hi all,

I'm starting a new series on my YouTube channel, "The Great British Round Robin" and here is part 1. This flight is from EGNJ to EGNT. Throughout the series I'll be going all around the UK using JustFlights fantastic PA-28 and using VATSIM. Please visit the channel and give it a like and Subscribe if you enjoyed it.

Regards
Dale

P.s. I know plenty of people have probably done similar things but I haven't really flown much around the UK so thought I'd share my journey.

Hello all,

Hope that everyone is keeping safe and sound. Here is the link to the next episode in the series, Glasgow to Liverpool. In this episode we experience the stunning Lake District and finally manage to catch some good ATC live on VATSIM when I hit Liverpool. Enjoy.

Thanks for keeping this tough crowd entertained, Dale! :)

The vids are bit on the long side for me so I skip a lot, but as a real-life ATCO it's nice to hear that online ATC has evolved a lot over time. I used to do some online flying and controlling but always missed my AI planes. ;)

Thanks Greg, I fully expect people to skip the majority of it as they are long. Hope people are enjoying the bits they are watching. VATSIM is incredibly fun being able to speak to real people compared to the sim ATC, but I do miss the AI and it is hit and miss as to when people will be on as controllers.

Hi Guys,

Here is the next part of my trip, Exeter to Jersey. I decided to do this flight in the early evening to try and get some nice light with the sun going down. As always I am on VATSIM. We're not far off from finishing the series now.

Hello all,

Below is the link to the next episode, Jersey to Biggin Hill. This leg was particularly enjoyable as VATSIM was rather busy, plenty of controllers online. Only two more legs to go now.

Hi everyone,

We continue our journey today on our Great British Round Robin with a flight from Biggin Hill to Norwich. I tried to do something different in this one to try and make it more realistic. The flight was carried out on VATSIM and it was pretty busy through London.

Good morning all,

Hope that we're all keeping safe and sound out there at the moment.

Here is the final instalment in my "Great British Round Robin". In this flight we fly from Norwich back to Humberside, I was once again on VATSIM, it was quite funny but I think someone was trolling the controller at one point.

Now that's over, I will move onto something else.

Thank to all of those that have tuned in to the series, I have enjoyed doing it overall.

Kind Regards
Dale
