Scenery : Ramstein AB (ETAR) - U.S. Air Force

Post by gvbeek »

Here's another contribution to the military community.

This time it's Ramstein (ETAR)

Few remarks;
The buildings are fictive because I don't know how it looks behind the fences.
I've add a few parkingspots with code XXX. These parkings are for static planes like F-16A J-245 and a C-130J-30.
I'll never do a project like this again.

Next project ; Painting several C-27J Spartan (EDIT: for my own personal use)

Have fun.

Hi Miljan,
First of all I wanna thank you for the Spartan model.
The repaints I was talking about are for my own personal use, so NO public project.
I'am looking forward to the rest of your Spartan fleet and in that case maybe I'll start another project.

Thank you for the heads up Mark, I found the E repaints from AVSIM as well as Ed Kooyman's flightplans and was using those. Just need the bizjets as well, looks like some of those repaints were lost in the AVSIM crash :(

There is no more E model at ETAR, only J(-30) model.

You just start looking at them before they mutated into wasps Chris (for us retro fellas) and get those paint brushes out. :smt005

You can find the badge at www.scramble.nl

BTW: It's the FORMER badge of 313 Sqn (Twenthe AB) flying with the Northorp NF-5B.

Hi Miljan,
Thanks for the dutch Pilatus package but....
the roundel of the right side of the aircraft is mirrored. It's red, white and blue and not blue, white, red.
On the wings and the left side of the fuselage they are correct.
It's a small but painfull mistake.

I installed your scenery but now all my -130's and other traffic no longer show up, but I will see them parked at other bases (ETAD etc). What could be causing this?

Welcome to the forum.
What we should say here is that there could be a number of reasons for this. You have to help people help you.
Are you using FS9 or FSX?
Did you have traffic at ETAR before?
Have you got duplicate afcads for ETAR?

These are basic things that help us.
