Israeli F16 Flightplans

Post by petebramley »

I have updated some previously released flightplans to match the recently released
Israeli F16 paints> My thanks to Gert van B (gvbeek). for allowing me to use his original
work. They may not be quite correct but will get these A/C into the air. If you don't like
them then remove them !

So we got repaints, we got great models, and we got flight plans.

I haven't searched yet, but what scenery is required? Are these bases done to MAIW standard by somebody already?

I'm thinking you got a ready-made Israeli Vipers package right here....

I've searched on Avsim and Flightsim but didn't find any of the required airbases.
The only scenery available is the one coming with the MAIW IDF Ben Gurion package, for Sde Dov base (LLSD).
In the same package there are AFCAD for other bases, but they have not enough parking spots to accomodate all the aircraft repainted, excluding Hatzerim.
Here what we have at present:
Hatzerim LL0D,84 Parking Spot, 25 Eagle (from Ray)
Hatzor LLHS, 20 PS, 51 Falcon
Nevatim LLNV, 33 PS, 33 Falcon
Ramat David LLRD,25 PS, 46 Falcon
Ramon LLRM, 64 PS, n/a
Tel Nof LLEK, 17 PS, 36 Eagle
Ovda LLOV, 11 PS,11 Falcon

I'd like to start something with ADE, but I have not so many time in this period.
Any volunteer?

Mr Google is my friend. :) Actually, a combination of the freewarescenery.com and mirage4fs.com websites yielded the answers, but hey, why waste a good line.

- Hatzor, Ramon, Tel Nof & Ramat David can all be found at Israscen (http://www.freewebs.com/israscen/downloads.htm#mil). Can't vouch for accuracy, but they'll fill the gap until somethng better comes along.
- Nevatim is at Flightsim.com, search for "nevatim.zip".
- Ovda has eluded me so far, but there is a wip notice on Isra's website, so watch this space.

Hope that is of some help. Thanks for the flightplans Pete, and a big thank you to all the people who do amazing work for our hobby.

Following earlier posts these are the AFCAD files I based my plans on:

LL0D - MAIW Ben Gurion package
LLBG - LLBG2004 http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php ... &fid=63111
(AFCAD amended by self)
LLEK - MAIW Ben Gurion package
LLHS - MAIW Ben Gurion package
(AFCAD Amended by self)
LLNV - nevatim.zip http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php ... &fid=93625
LLOV - MAIW Ben Gurion package
LLRD - MAIW Ben Gurion package
LLRM - MAIW Ben Gurion package

I'm not sure how up-to-date these are now but they do provide a base from which to work.
You may need to amend the parking codes or even add a few spots to get all the A/C to show.

I've tested the sceneries found By Andy. All of them are very very old, and very very basics. Most of them have parkings where they are not at present ( Google Earth )
I'll try to put something together with ADE.

Hi Jose,

Maurizio Coren has released all 7 Israel F-16 packages on AVSim. You can find the links on the Military AI reference page of my website.
Cheers,
Martin

Hello.

Some times ago, i've started with ADE9 on LLNV and LLRM. All runway, taxi and parkin are dones. I'll finish them with road, building, flatten, exclude etc.
At the end of this week-end, i'll post some screen and I also hope release a polish base for the Mil-Mi 24.

Hi all, a question for the experts of SBuilder.
I'm working on Hatzerim Air Base proceeding as ususal. I created the exclude files with SBuilder, but I can't understand why I have bushes and trees as in the screenshot.

Image

I tried different exclude layers without result. The attached files exclude from layer 1 to 7, but the bushes are always there.
I know I can sort it out with ADE excluding polys, but I'd like to understand why SBuilder doesn't work as it is supposed to do.
Where I'm wrong?

Thanks, Giorgio
