Pirkkala Airbase - EFTP - download available.

Post by Stewart Pearson »

Here's the next installment of my Finnish sceneries - Pirkkala Airbase.

Pirkkala Airbase is located 8 miles Southwest of Tampere City Centre.

It is a busy civilian airport with a lively GA scene as well.

It is home to 21 Squadron of the Finnish Air Force Satakunta Wing, operating F-18 Hornets.

Parking is coded to match the MAIW Finnish Hornets and Vinka releases.

Full list of files required is in the Readme.

Any problems just let me know.

Preview shots:

1. For the technically minded the ADE file.

2. Apron 2

3. Alert Shelter

Hope you guys enjoy this one.

Thanks guys.

I like to try and have two projects on the go - stops me getting bored etc. I started Pirkkala at the beginning of November and worked on it between doing the Indian bases.

At the moment I'm about 80% finished Agra (VIAG) and 40% on Rovaniemi (EFRO).
