Amari Air Base, Estonia (FSX)

Here is an FSX version of Amari Air Base in Estonia. The field underwent an extensive renovation that included new buildings, new ramps, an extension to the main runway, and new hangars.

Amari Air Base hopes to become an additional base for NATO's Baltic Air Policing mission. Four U.S. Air Force F-15s from RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom tested the facilities at the base, which will host a detachment of four F-16s from the Royal Danish Air Force in 2014.

The following libraries will be needed
- MAIW ABO
- MAIW Polish Scenery Objects
- GGSE
- Jim Dhaenen's lighting

Included in the zip file are AIFP files with updates to some MAIW flightplans, as well as a flightplan from Chris Brown and Menno van den Boogaard's Retro RDAF scenery pack that I edited to replace the 730 Squadron's F-16s with F-35s. Four of them, a KC-135 each from the Pennsylvania and Michigan ANG and two A-10s each from the Michigan and Maryland ANGs have been updated to fly to Amari.

Let me know if you find any issues. Once I get it finalized, I'll upload it to Avsim and Flightsim. Please do not upload or distribute anywhere else.

Niiiiice. Shout out to John for the FS9 conversion. I've found out more stuff about the field and more pics, so expect an update in the next week or so.

A third airbase is now used for Baltic Air Policing. It's EVGA Lielvärde, in Latvia. Actually 5 German Eurofighter ar based there.
Vielvärde will be used during the spring to autumn of 2024 whilst Ämari Air Base undergoes reconstruction work.
This base was already used by US helicopter and was modernised.
