Re: US Army Rotor Wing Aviation
For anyone wondering if the old projects will be update to Johns new model now that it is out:
Martindale and Tulsa will be put up this evening (Texas evening time), with other projects to follow. Obviously, the big ones like Ft. Stewart may take some time. Anyone who wants to take a shot at updating some themselves with the excellent paint kit John provided, have at it.

Re: US Army Rotor Wing Aviation
Here are the Martidale replacements in FS9 and FSX. There is an included flight plan update because I notice that a couple aircraft were accidentally sent to KDMA (Davis Monthan) instead of KMDA (Martindale) in the first release.

Cheers click.
I figured that it would take some time to update all the stuff you have released so far but I am happy to wait for somebody that knows what they are doing.

Re: US Army Rotor Wing Aviation
I just uploaded the first three flight plans for the Jayhawks to AVSIM.
After uploading the first three USCG flight plans I found an error in the Jayhawk .cfg.
The last seven Jays in my .cfg should have the 'atc_parking_code' changed to "CGAL" vice "USCG". (seagull ?)
It doesn't hurt anything, just keeps the ALC aircraft together at KECG.

Re: US Army Rotor Wing Aviation
Fort Carson Colorado/Butts AAF.
http://www.mediafire.com/download/dvjg8 ... Carson.zip
All Paints and FP included.
AI Models Needed
NBAI AH-64D Longbow Armed & D Armed
NBAI CH-47
JYAI Blackhawk Family US Army Black_L and Black_UH_M
Libraries needed:
Atsugi
Beaufort Object Library
GGSE
MAIW ABO
MAIW Humvee
MCDmilitary
Lights SS V2
Parking Lots Large SS
Locations:
Butts AAF: KFCS Full function airfield
Red Devil: FCRD C-130 assault landing strip and urban combat training center
Pinon Canyon: PCMA C-130 assault landing strip and maneuver training center
Strip West: FCSW Small practice strip
FARP: FCFP
Note: Due to an extraordinary amount of growth at this base, this release is out of date already. The Butts AAF scenery is based on aerial survey photos from 2014 and lacks several new hangers and tarmac areas built in the last year. Also, due to a huge and rapid increase in the number of helicopters at this base, there are many more in real life than are represented in this package. I have only included aircraft I could verify, which comes in at 64 aircraft.
Note 2: To facilitate AI helicopter traffic, the runway may appear full length but it is in fact half length. I do not suggest scheduling non STOL models to Butts AAF.
Note 3: 21st Cav (original MAIW Fort Hood pack) is no more, but their aircraft live on. The AH-64Ds from the 21st Cav were sent to the factory and upgraded to AH-64Es and are now part of 1-25th. 9 of the newly refurbished aircraft are included here.

That would simulate units on Euro/Korean deployments or the ever constant NTC (Ft. Irwin) rotations. Beautiful job.

Re: US Army Rotor Wing Aviation
Butts AAF and the ranges work good in FSX with the normal elevation issues. Just wanted to confirm you FP'd the now gone 21st CAV Apaches to AZ and CO? Try to avoid duplicates. In testing I had a few Cav AH-64's on the ramp at FCS.

Re: US Army Rotor Wing Aviation
That is correct, the AH-64Es are ex 21st CAV AH-64Ds. Unfortunately I do not know which serial numbers they were before being upgrade so direct replacement isn't possible.
Re: US Army Rotor Wing Aviation
Where can I find the Tulsa birds? Also, does anyone have a scenery for the Tulsa Army Aviation Center NE of KTUL? FSX left it out, just a flat field there.

Here are the Tulsa Co B 2-285 aircraft painted on the new JYAI models:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/33zq3 ... -285th.zip
They are a mix of older tired aircraft and brand new from the factory Ms since the unit was in transition when done. Scenery and FP on the first page of this thread.

Re: US Army Rotor Wing Aviation
JYAI replacements for the 3-160 SOAR JFAI paints from page 3:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/m7qxv ... 0_Co_C.zip
These use the JYAI MH-60M model. Install like any other repaint. Drop paints in appropriate model folder and copy over .cfg entries. NOTE: I did not include the FSX rotor textures to save file size, so make sure to place a copy in each texture folder from the master texture in the model download.
These will work with the original flight plans with no other modifications.

As an org we do not comment on what modellers associated with us are doing or not doing.
It may be frustrating but we are all users, just like yourself, and we just have to wait and see as well.
