I just looked it up and Cameroon have 3x C-130s in two sqns!? What is the point?
You've just got to promote some inter-squadron rivalry some how :)

Damn, in prep for the Nigerian C-130s I checked to see what else I had for Nigeria. I had plans for the Super Pumas based there and had textures for the Alpha Jets based there but no flight plans.

Anybody know of flight plans for the A jets?

The only one I know of is from an old French Military AI Package from 2005.

Do a search on flightsim.com for Christian Muenier - filename frenchaf.zip.
Amongst the miriad of bits and pieces there's an AFCAD for FKKD.

It needs modding slightly to add taxiways to the large aircraft parking which need spacing about a bit as they tend to overlap wings.

Thanks, guys.

As you said Paul that package from John addresses my problem. If I had waited a day then the answer would have presented itself.

I have 'afcads' for DNKN, DNMA, DNMK and DNYO.

I intend to do DNPO, DNAA and DNMM.

I will upload afcads for Chad, Congo Rep. and Congo DRC soon.

There is an X plane scenery for FKKD that can be backward modified for FS9 but it has no military hangars.

I have been looking up my old objects and decided to rework these at KNFW.

Same front with generic additions.

John, I believe Brent is quite advanced with modern day FS9 and FSX/P3Fv4 versions of KNFW, using his retro Carswell scenery as the start point.

I don't know if there's any scope for putting two heads together?

Thanks for the interest John

I have contacted Brent.

At the time of my offer I did not realise how much work the buildings, these and others still required.
This post is more to get some idea if the objects bare enough resemblance to the real thing to be used to enhance the scenery.

The airport layout I have is from 2015/16.

No sense in duplicating the project.

Those hangars that you show there haven't changed in decades and they certainly look like they do in real life.

In light of another superb AI release in the near future, I have decided to wade into this venture.

LFRH Lann-Bihoue, Lorient.

Early days for the Buildings but I have been tinkering with the Afcad for a month or two now.

John, Gert has already sent me some LFRH scenery for FS9 that he has made and I will be checking that out today with the French Hawkeyes. Is your offering for FS9 also, or FSX/P3Dv4?

John, Thank you.

Mine is for FS9.

No need for me to pursue it further then.

Great news John. thanks for this scenery.

If you seek a beta tester, I'm here ;-)

I just install one I find ont internet, but it's an old FS2002 with a FS2004 afcad... and not a very good scenery.

John, if you are nearly there, it would be good to finish it. No one minds being spoilt for choice.

I've just tested Gert's version and his is nicely detailed and works in FS9 and FSX. It should be fine in P3Dv4 too once I have the elevation and flatten sorted. The advantage of yours I think is that you are using custom textures.

If you use a parking code of 4F users can use either version without modification.

John, thank you for the encouragement.

This scenery is in its infancy.

New Buildings and new textures that I am dreaming up. There are not many images out there.

Only the T hangars have textures on them.

I will continue but it will be some time yet.

Following a kind request I have looked at this structure again.

The Tower at Volkel AB

I have been trying to get the window frames visible without using too many polygons.

I resorted to an alpha channel for the frames. Got it to work in FS9. Not very neat though.

This is still not textured properly.

My request is that one of you who have FSX and/or P3D test this and see if it works even after modification.

I would like to know if this method works or would I have to use Actual polygons?

Send me a PM and I will forward the files

John
