C5 Galaxy for P3D v4

Post by peluso5 »

Hi guys :

As some of you may know by Gavin from AIG, I am working in the Paul Suls C5. is almost done but got some questions:

1.- The extra air intakes on the engines, when they open and close for T/O and Landing??

2.- I made the animated model with all the animations on ground, do you would like the closed versión??

3.- Gavin told me to also do the C5- M, Paul Suls only has an open an closed versión of the C5a, so whats the difference between the C5A and C5m??

I would say the only external (obvious) difference between the C-5A/B and the C-5M is the C-5M uses General Electric CF6-80C2-L1F (USAF designator F-138-GE100) turbofan engines: http://www.af.mil/About-Us/Fact-Sheets/ ... er-galaxy/

You do great work Tony. Looking forward to having C-5s in my P3D v4.2 skies!

Thanks Mark, The C5a is ready , just need to know the answer of my questions to reléase the model, with droping surfaces, all the open cargo área animation, complete set of landing/taxi Lights, , extra air intakes on the engines working, and full night lighting in the cargo área with effects added to the model

Hi Tony!

Welcome and first of all thank you for all the work you have already done for military AI.

I must pass on your question 1. but can answer the other two.

2. Yes, the closed version is also very welcome. It looks better if some aircraft don't have any activity when parked.

3. I fear you may have done the old version of the C-5A. Pascal made a new version that has more models and has also corrected some errors if I am not mistaken. The models are: Patriot, Nose, Hummer, Full, Closed, Apache and Aft, dated 27.06.2010. I can provide you with a download link with the models in case you need them.

3. The C-5M comes with only three models: super_closed, super_open and super_prototype.

Great news, and a very welcome addition. I need to start with the package preparation then... :smt001
Cheers,
Martin

By the way, that is a worthwhile package! Mark Walsh has made 140 paints, and the MAIW packages have another 127...

Hi Tony,

That would be great and most appreciated - it looks way cool! But if you just convert what already exists nobody would ever complain!

Martin

Adding vehicles is easy, the trouble is the whole model
