So this just happened....
While messing around with another completely unrelated project I was looking for a basic helicopter model. Well once the serious work was done this may have gotten a little out of hand. The model is a 'generic' Bell 206, low poly, from the 3D Warehouse...
I know it's not a real TH-57, but it will do as a stand-in....
Texturing is mostly done, heli-lift animation is working, main rotor-blade animation and interior to come next.....
Thoughts?

I only have good thoughts
Of course I can almost here the questions about OH-58s, but I will always take a new model into my inventory.

Haha... well the first texture template I used was an Aussie Kiowa... so I guess that could potentially happen...

Can the glass be made more opaque. It looks like a group of dopeheads are having a good time in there.
I realise that you can't make it completely clear otherwise it means detailing the inside. I just wonder if a better balance could be achieved.
It is kinda the trouble with choppers.

Haha... dopeheads...helicopter pilots.... are you trying to draw some sort of comparison?
I plan on adding some interior, and pilots... See how that works out.

Looks awesome. Keep up the good work.

No, no, no. Not at all. Well maybe just a bit.

Yes Yes Yes, please continue. The B206 would get good use still in both US Navy and Army colors (TH-67 is gone, but sold to FAC). No comment on rotorheads.

Very good Sean. I notice that on return to park, the rotors spin for 30 seconds after settling on the pad. How have you managed that and which sim version are you using please? It might be the answer to a question posted in another thread if it's FSX.

Hi John,
It’s FS9, and I can send it through if it’s any help?
There are multiple animation triggers in play, so it’s a bit messy right now.... there is nothing too fancy though.

Thanks Sean, if you could PM me the xml code blocks that would be great. I'll see what they do in FSX.
