That is Nellis AFB.

Great use of those objects! Looks like a ton of work. I wish someone would make a custom scenery of that base. The AlphaSim version is horrible.

Looks amazing Paul!

Indeed a lot better than the Alphasim version.

Can't wait, I "sim" out of LSV alot with the virtual USAF. My current scenery became a FPS hog as of late.

??? EDIT: Wait, now've I know what you mean. I'm not a Ranger. I'm a civilian who's a grand offspring of a ARVN Ranger Colonel though.

I have had the Alphasim Nellis for a long time. I don't think I have even used it yet. :P

Thanks guys. I'd be happy to give it to anyone that would like it when it's done. The Alphasim one is pretty bad.

Thunderbird Hangar

Post by aztec01_mcf »

The Thunderbird hangar is located at

36°14'28.61"N
115° 2'12.30"W

It's on the south side of the bend where Tyndall Becomes Wurtsmith. There is a tiny F16 model along NW edge of the building. The TBird ramp is empty, but you can see the team in an 'airfield overview' shot of Nellis on Airliners.net, with just a tiny bit of the hangar visible.

Hope that helps
