Hellenic Air Force - B212 VIP - [WIP]

Post by Christopher Barbas »

Hi all,

I am doing it for the IVAO MTL, they use the one by Jordan Moore/Gard Gitlestad from Hovercontrol as AI heli.
I think I will publish the whole HAF B212 VIP, 4 heli's, as package also.

Some parts cannot be painted because the paint kit is mirroring them or for some other reasons but it will be quite good as or for AI!

Great news, have you looked at using the K.Furuya 212 model? It is a 1 LOD model, but less of a hit on framerates.

I'm using his UH-1J as a stand-in for UH-1H and it works pretty well as AI (without any fancy heli lift animations of course)

Christopher, as Sean mentioned the "J" works too, but both do not have a paint kit on the single texture sheet. I have them flying in South America. I am using the Dean B. flyable UH-1H for my Greek forces until the WIP AI model is released.

Hi,

I am using the same from DB too, for the Hellenic Air Force and Hellenic Army Aviation, there are some acceptable repaints out there which I have sorted good from a long time ago!

For the moment its better to stay into this I think, I mean the B212 at least a paintkit is available!

Agree, the KF 212 unfortunately has the large dorsal antenna that takes away from the model if the real version is not equipped. I still use Jordan's 412 in FSX and have an "almost" AI version from Phoenix AI traffic.
