Beta testing of Weescotty's NAWDC Block 15 OCU Falcons

Post by Kulbit »

Beta testing of Weescotty's NAWDC Block 15 OCU Falcons

Sim: P3D v4.5
Scenery: Mega Scenery Earth with Nuvecta autogen, Rex and Active Sky
FPS: in the 40/70 range all the time

The model looks impressive, flight dynamics are optimal. The post burner has an excellent performance, and personally, I also like the "fireball" effect when viewed from the rear.
The taxy run starts with the airbrakes in open position but i think this is "locked" to the take off flaps position.

Here following some pics taken at the NAWDC home Nas Fallon in Nevada.
I hope they are not too many, but I wanted to give a precise idea of the quality of the model.

Hi Max.
It would look like the airbrakes at taxi must be a result of what you are using to view/follow the aircraft.
It's not unusual.
No one else has seen this behaviour using the P3D AI viewer.

Great pics by the way.

I assume you are using SupperTrafficBoard, right? There is an option for Flap Handling. Set that to 0, then this is no longer an issue.

I remember how it killed me to see aircraft start with the chute extended :-)

And yes, the pictures are stunning!
Cheers,
Martin

Some pics of the twin seats OCU model.
Even this looks stunning with no bugs to mention.

Kevin do the shading occlusion layers work in P3D? Not seeing them in his shots?

Where can I find flightplans for these? I think I remember seeing them before, but I can't find them.

Oh ok. I downloaded the file but didn't open it or anything yet. I just assumed it was just the models and paints.

Can you post a direct link for the scenery (or say what page it is on)? There are 156 pages of scenery on the flyawaysimulation site and I have been through 10 pages so far and I haven't seen the scenery. (I don't see anywhere where I can search)

Thanks for getting these out gents, love the NSAWC birds and as mentioned my main test area for Tacpack aircraft. Same scenery I'm using, but over MSE NV photoreal. I've adjusted some parking, but still have some P3D autogen that will not go away near the "hush" house (engine test building).
