Looking good.
Many of these F-4s have already been painted for the Fernando Martinez F-4 AI model many years ago.
They are all available and flightsim.com and AVSIM
I assume these paints are for Mike Pearson's models?
Something looks strange in this screenshot with the model on the ground.
The gear appears too high or not compressed while on the ground.

Shouldn't the VMFA-333 and VMFA-451 Phantom have 3-digit modex numbers since they are assigned to a carrier air wing?

These S-3s look nice.
I had a look at the textures when the models came.
But I think I remember that there was something strange with the mapping.
The bottom of the wings partly mapped the same as the top of the wings making the gullgrey-over-white schemes hard to realize?

Glad you are getting the interest back even if you are rusty.

One request I would like to make is that your large collection of schemes remains available. Could you tell us where we can get them or are you somehow able to make them available?

All of the repaint ive done were put up on avsim .I lost all my paint kits a while back that was when I lost the bug .
After that all i repainted was all the SAC stuff ie KC-135's B-52 B-1 C-5 F-111 etc etc. Most of the work was done for this group .
So in the time I ve been off work I looked back at stuff I was doing back then .F-4 A-6 EA-6 A-7 .I ve reworked the F-4BNJS kit and also the RF-4B Kit redone mostly the A-6 started on the F-4E/G and the RF-4E kit .Done some work on the A-7E and looked at the EA-6.
Just to fill in time while I was off work ..The S-3 viking is done in the kit .I started on units for the Viking the mapping is not the best so what I ve done is about as good as it can be .The wing texture are not the best .You paint one peace and the colour ends up on three parts of the wing.We will see how far we go with these ..But all these models are very old now apart from the S-3 .the A-6 A-7 EA-6 are very very old and is shows but with good texture /painting they can pass just ..I will post some more pics later .See hat you think ..

Showtime, baby!
I never heard why that sqn was quietly disbanded taking into account who was on it. I wonder if something went on or happened that made the USN 'lose' the nameplate.

I could only assume VF-96 decommissioned due to the military draw down after Vietnam. My own USN squadron (with history back to the 1970s) got the cut along with the other squadrons in the air wing during this latest downsizing.
