Great to see those models!

If you want to be a bit more accurate, you can use the RAF Airseeker mdl file for the USAF RC-135V/W models now, they should have all been updated to this same block standard by now which is the same thing (for the most part) that that the RAF has on their 3 aircraft. Changes are to some of the antenna arrays and a few more lumps.

Rather than asking whether something is for FS9 every time, I suggest that you have a look yourself first to see. In most cases the answer, be it positive or negative, is clear.

This was released for FS9 five years ago and is in the download area. Just search Airseeker.

Yes that one. Just go into the Airseeker's Model folder and copy the .mdl file to your Offut RC-135W model folder. You may have to rename it to "MAIW_RC-135.mdl" but otherwise it should be a straight forward swap.

Who would have guessed that the RAF would have been ahead of the USAF. Normally they just have to do something different.

Yeah I guess when the RAF bought the C-135R airframes for conversion, they must have been the first three to get converted to the latest block standard.

That's the least we could do for selling you guys 60 year old airframes and trying to pass them off as 'good as new'..... :smt003

I thought it was the "one careful owner" pledge that sold it.

They had a good shot blast and a bath in rust remover before exposure to the beautiful Lincolnshire air :)

Wonder who the poor RAF bloke was that got to sift through 50+ years of maintenance logs to see what they were getting....

Probably the one that thought that getting the Nimrod AEW3 was a good idea.
