The BIGGEST AI?

Post by KevinJarvis »

Here are some shots of Mehlin Rainers new AN22. This thing is huge.
Looks good in the sim and in flight.
I loaded 8 of them and my frame rates were still good.
A great addition to the eastern european skies.

A great addition to the skies of FS, and the good news is they do visit the UK every now and again so I have a reason to use it. 8)

A pack with these would be great. But as a beta tester, I can honestly say....this won't fit into the time schedule at the moment.

But, since it wouldn't be too involved, I think one of our fine members should take the reins on this and pump it out....lol.

Who's up for this???

I know, I've already checked it out
But the model in your screenshots looks like the TOLM one to me, not Rainer's...

I am surprised that the Russians only have 3 aircraft in service. Does anybody know if this is because others changed ownership with the break up of the SU?

Well Comrades...

The 22 was going to be replaced but when the SU broke up the military budget was slashed. Now we have Putin and they have all that cash from gas and oil sales who knows what may happen. I did read that Putin had personally given the OK to develop the 225 as a long-range strategic transport.

I also read that there was 'private' force of 22s operated by a ex-SovietAF guys which they leased back to the RuAF. The breakup of the SU left a lot pi**ed off military guys looking for work.

Kevin, where did you find the cammo scheme as it only comes with two aeroflot schemes?

Boy do I feel like an ass...
Those are indeed the TOLM aircraft.
I didn't pay enough attention to the cfg entries when I added them using this program I have.

I'll post the Rainer aircraft soon.

@Steve,
The camo scheme is the TOLM aircraft which was a package that I picked up somewhere. Possible avsim.ru
