Well here's my first entry for this.

Image

Cold Lake (CYOD)
Best Time of days are any day between Tuesday and Thursday..its dead on friday. This screenie is from Wednesday midday.
Seen here are obviously one package in development T-45s. Italian Tornados, RAF Tornado GR4s, F-117s, and DM A-10s. Plus at other times of the week various F-15 and A-10 units arrive also, plus there are the resident Hawks from NFTC.

Ok, I'll bite. Here are some of my favorite spotting sites:

First the MAIW version of RAF Conningsby, always good for some RAF action:

Then Lakenheath Airbase with more great scenery by Ian (Rocket26):

Then it's over to the Pacific for the rest stop known as Hickam Air Force Base, it always has a good mix of local and transiting AI:

Finally what will surely become a favorite place to spot in the near future, this screenshot from an upcoming MAIW release. I had to be very sneaky so as not to reveal the location of this shot and the package associated with it. And yes that's previously un-released custom scenery you see with it.

But you forget I have moderator powers................... :P

It should be out fairly soon anyhow, I believe it's already completed its beta testing process.

EDIT: Well would you look at that, there she is, ready for you to download. And no, I didn't know it would be released today.

Reminds me of the old story about the unknown pilot, waiting in a long take-off queue, who triggered his mike and announced,"I'm f***ing bored!"

The irate tower immediately demanded,"Last pilot transmitting, identify yourself!"

The unrepentant pilot replied,"I said I was f***ing bored, not f***ing stupid!"
Where did I put my beer??!

Including some retro stuff.

The german Tornados still wear the old Navy scheme in your screenies. Most of them (if not all already) have been repainted since the transition to the Air Force in 2005.
