I thought so, I was wondering why the model was named "model.C_Finnish_Clean" rather than model.C_Clean. but I have no idea why they are different lol, I know nothing about Navy birdsnickblack423 wrote:Wow...again, lovely work.
Please be aware that the Finnish F-18 model is slightly different to a normal F/A-18 of the USMC/USN etc. Bonus prize to those who can tell me why LOL.

Finnish Hornets have the ALQ-165 Jamming Pod, the US Navy didn't add it on until the E/F models

Looking at the textures, it seems they also have a position light on the left side of the nose, which should be a common feature on Canadian Hornets.Jumpshot724 wrote:Please be aware that the Finnish F-18 model is slightly different to a normal F/A-18 of the USMC/USN etc. Bonus prize to those who can tell me why LOL.

Beat me to it, without researching LOT #'s and antenna placement, but it's AI, so that would be crazy if the details were that accurate.Looking at the textures, it seems they also have a position light on the left side of the nose, which should be a common feature on Canadian Hornets.

Perfect!
I have been struggling with Dennis Waggoner's Edwards AFB scenery trying to get the elevation issues smoothed out.
All problems have been corrected now.
I checked for repaints of NASA aircraft that are based there and this will put the cherry on top. Saw it on tv or something escorting a experimental flight.

Ah the renegade VFR Pilots. I have come across this problem too, It pops up randomly all over the place.
Someone that knows better about AI logic might know. I just said, screw it. I don't have time for this and just made everything IFR.
I don't even mess with TNG's. Normally I will just make a full stop IFR pattern flight plan. Making sure to have the pattern alt high enough to clear the highest features around.
I have observered that if you program a IFR AI aircraft to fly at a given alt. they will stick to it and plow right through mountains. ATC will keep yelling at them to change alt. but they stick to it hard.
VFR AI on the otherhand will try to adjust alt. with in reason.

Mikey, The problem I had with the KEDW scenery started out as parked aircraft floated 5Ft over the ground. Then ground elevation texture bleeding issues. The scenery was really ment for FS2002 but I came arcross a fix for FS2004. The origanal aurhor talked about a version 2 for 2004 but like most of us, life issues take priority. No go as far as I can see.
