I just bought a new gaming computer that has not been delivered yet. This new computer has an AMD Radeon 6450 video card. My current computer has an ATI Radeon HD5700 series card. I was wondering which card wil produce the better graphics? Should I put the 5700 in the new computer?
Old Computer: AMD 64 x2 Core 2.1 Mhz
2 Gbyte Ram
512K Hard Drive
ATI Radeon HD series 5700 video card
New Computer: AMD FX-4100 x4 Core 3.6 Mhz
8 Gbyte DDR3 1300 Mhz Ram
1TB Hard Drive
AMD Radeon 6450 video card
Thanks,
Reggie

ATI Radeon HD5700 Series vs AMD Radeon 6450

6450 sounds newer than 5700. I can't think of a reason that it would be inferior. Does the Radeon website not help you?

No, it doesn't I was hoping someone could make a quick comparison.

Actually, the first number doesn't always tell you much and is very often misleading, as is the case now.
The 6450 is a very cheap, downgraded entry-level card and can perform about 4x slower than a 5750, let alone a 5770 (don't know which one you have) which were very good cards of the previous generation.
So remove it as fast as you can and plug in your 5750/5770.
